Customer portal

The customer portal gives your customers a logged-in page where they can pay, save a payment method and manage their own recurring schedules — without contacting your team.

What customers can do The self-service actions available, and the ones that are not

There is no ready-made portal to switch on

ChargeOn ships the building blocks — the components a customer would use — not a finished site. You build the Experience Cloud site yourself and place the components on it. See set up the portal before you go looking for a portal that already exists.

Customers see less than your team does

Portal users get a deliberately narrower surface than internal users. They can act on their own records and nobody else's. What customers can do is the definitive list.

What's new here

Two capabilities that did not exist in an earlier version of the portal now work inside it: customers can change which saved payment method their own recurring payment uses next, and — for gateways running Hosted Fields — register a new card through the gateway's own secure embedded form, directly inside the portal, rather than only through ChargeOn's own card form. See what customers can do for the full, current list.
